Are your baby playmats non-toxic? Do they contain any heavy metals, phthalates or other nasties?

We take the safety of babies and children seriously. Tikarbybudak was developed with that in mind and when we could not find such products in our market.

Our mat is made from TPU, a Polyurethane foam. The material is non-toxic, light and biodegradable, yet durable. It is BPA and PVC free. They have passed the European Toy Standard testing (EN 71) which makes them one of the safest children's playmats available! 

The use of PU (polyurethane) compared to PVC (polyvinyl chloride) creates a safer playmat for your children, without the harmful and toxic chemicals, however still allows for a durable and hard-wearing mat which can be easily wiped clean. Besides, tikarbybudak playmats come in one solid piece instead of loose puzzle pieces, so they won’t end up in your babies mouth being chewed.
